VI Softball was back on the diamond in '09 in Long Beach... Unfortunately, they had a Mets-like collapse towards the end of the season and dropped out of playoff contention... oh well...

The Village Idiots finally ventured into what will be quite a legacy on the softball diamond... the season started off with 2 wins in their first two games, WEEK 1 (see recap) ... they followed up with a split in WEEK 2 (see recap) Since then, a tough stretch led to 11 straight losses, but the new winning streak is at 1! You can check the BOXSCORES AND SEASON STATS HERE... here's how things ended up with the season being cut short due to no-shows...
